	ROBERT BARRO OFRECERA UNA CONFERENCIA SOBRE EL CRECIMIENTO ECONOMICO EN CHINA, INDIA Y EL MUNDO
	EN EL II FORO INTERNACIONAL DE ECONOMIA REGIONAL. FORO ECONOMICO DE LA RIOJA
El catedrático de Economía de la Universidad de Harvard Robert J. Barro ofrecerá, el día 9 de mayo, una conferencia sobre el crecimiento económico en China, India y el mundo en el II Foro Internacional de Economía Regional. Foro Económico de La Rioja. Robert Barro, experto en temas de macroeconomía y crecimiento económico, también es miembro senior de la Institución Hoover de la Universidad de Stanford, columnista del Business Week y socio investigador de la Oficina Nacional de Investigación Económica. Además, preside la Western Economic Association, ha sido vicepresidente de la American Economic Association y ha escrito numerosas obras sobre sus especialidades: macroeconomía y crecimiento económico. Barro ofrecerá su conferencia el martes 9 de mayo a las 10,30 horas, dentro de la primera área del II Foro Internacional de Economía Regional. Foro Económico de La Rioja, que, bajo el título “La Ronda de Doha y sus consecuencias en las economías regionales”, analizará el marco global en el que se desenvuelve la economía de las regiones. Este Foro incluye otras dos áreas, una sobre “El desarrollo económico regional. Disparidades y convergencia regional” y la tercera, sobre “Economía de la empresa”, en la que se pretenden ofrecer herramientas a las empresas para desenvolverse en el nuevo marco económico. El II Foro Internacional de Economía Regional. Foro Económico de La Rioja se celebrará los días 9, 10 y 11 de mayo en el Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de La Rioja, Riojaforum, organizado por la Consejería de Agricultura y Desarrollo Económico del Gobierno de La Rioja, a través de la Agencia de Desarrollo Económico, y por la Cámara de Comercio e Industria de esta Comunidad Autónoma.

The university professor of Economy of the Hardvard University, Robert J. Barro will offer, day 9 of May, a conference on the economic growth in China, India and the world in II the Forum the International of Regional Economy. Economic forum of La Rioja.
