LA EMPRESARIA ANA PATRICIA BOTÍN RECIBIRÁ EL XIII PREMIO PRESTIGIO RIOJA |
| ESTE PREMIO RECONOCE A AQUELLAS PERSONAS QUE CONTRIBUYEN A LA EXALTACIÓN DE LA CULTURA DEL VINO | |
| El jurado del Premio Prestigio Rioja ha decidido conceder el Premio Prestigio Rioja, en su XIII edición, a la empresaria española Ana Patricia Botín, Presidenta de Banesto. La decisión fue tomada por el hecho evidente de haber exhibido por todo el mundo las formas de vivir de los españoles, así como su personal interés por el vino, que está no sólo en su alimentación habitual sino también en su cultura. Ana Patricia Botín es una de las 25 personas más influyentes en el mundo de los negocios, según los rankings que anualmente publican las más prestigiosas revistas económicas internacionales. Hasta ahora han sido Premio Prestigio Rioja: Federico Mayor Zaragoza (1994), Francisco J. Ayala (1995), Mario Vargas Llosa (1996), Eduardo Chillida (1997), Theresa Zabell (1998), Plácido Domingo (1999). Valentín Fuster (2000), Isidoro Álvarez (2001), Cristóbal Halffter (2002), Pedro Duque (2003), Antonio Banderas (2004) y Carlos Sainz (2005). El Jurado Permanente del Premio está constituido por Carmen Iglesias, Sabino Fernández Campo, Juan Antonio Samaranch, Antonio Mingote, Adrián Piera, Rafael Ansón, Eduardo Arroyo, Gonzalo Sol, que actúa como Secretario, y por el Presidente del Consejo Regulador de la D.O.Ca.Rioja, Víctor Pascual. | The Jury of the Prestigio Rioja Award has decided to give this award, in its 13th edition, to the Spanish businesswoman Ana Patricia Botín, President of Banesto. The decision was made on the grounds of having shown all over the world the Spanish way of living and the Spanish people’s interest towards wine, which is present not only in their habitual food but also in their culture. Ana Patrica Botín is one of the 25 most influential people in business, regarding the rankings which the most influential international magazines about economy publish yearly. Up to now, the Prestigio Rioja Award has been given to: Federico Mayor Zaragoza (1994), Francisco J.
