	ACTIVIDADES DEL GRUPO ESPELEOLÓGICO CAMEROS
	CONFERENCIAS Y AUDIOVISUALES EN LA “CASA DE LAS ASOCIACIONES” DE LOGROÑO
El Grupo Espeleológico Cameros (G.E.C.) se fundó en Ortigosa de Cameros por la iniciativa y e interés por la espeleología de un grupo de jóvenes de la localidad el año 1983. El Grupo inició sus actividades explorando y topografiando las cavidades existentes en el entorno de Ortigosa, algunas de ellas conocidas ya de antiguo y en las que se habían encontrado restos prehistóricos. En diciembre de 2002 se crea la Sección de Montaña del G.E.C.: uno de sus objetivos principales la divulgación y la enseñanza de la espeleología en todas sus facetas, para una mayor seguridad y comprensión del medio subterráneo. Para conseguir estos objetivos, el Grupo organiza cursos de técnica y material; topografía; medicina deportiva; geoespeleología; biospeleología; descenso de barrancos, etc. La semana pasada programó unas interesantes jornadas sobre actividades de montaña: · Paisajes de La Rioja - Audiovisual sobre montes de La Rioja - Juan Armendáriz · Adaptaciones a la montaña - Conferencia sobre medicina deportiva por el Dr. Julio Martínez Flórez. · Descenso de barrancos - Audiovisual a cargo de José Manuel Aragón Lázaro. 	ACTIVITIES OF CAMEROS SPEOLOLOGIC GROUP
	LECTURES AND DOCUMENTARIES IN THE «CASA DE LAS ASOCIACIONES» IN LOGROÑO
Cameros Speleologic Group (G.E.C) was founded in Ortigosa de Cameros due to the initiative and interest in speolology of a group of young people in the village in 1983. the group started its activities exploring the existing cavities around Ortigosa, some of them already known, where some pre-historic remains had been found. In December 2002 the Mountain Section of the G.E.C. was founded: one of its main objectives is the spreading and the teaching of speleology for a better safety and understanding of the underworld. In order to achieve this objectives, the group organises courses on techniques and material; topography; sport medicine; geospeleology; biospeleology; climbing, etc. Last week it has organised some interesting sessions about mountain activities: -Landscapes of La Rioja-audiovisual presentation about mountains in La Rioja-Juan Armendáriz. -Adaptation to the mountain-lecture about sport medicine by Doctor Julio Martínez Flórez. -Climbing-audiovisual presentation by José Manuel Aragón Lázaro.
