	BODEGAS MIGUEL MERINO SALUDA 2008 CON UNA EXPOSICIÓN FOTOGRÁFICA
	EN LA BODEGA DE BRIONES SE EXHIBEN TRABAJOS DE PABLO SAN JUAN Y JESÚS ROCANDIO
En 1994, Miguel Merino inició con su familia la restauración de una vieja casona de piedra en Briones, con el objetivo de convertirla en bodega. Junto a ella edificaron unas pequeñas salas de crianza, selección, elaboración y embotellado, donde poder conseguir su objetivo de “disfrutar haciendo vino”. Seis años más tarde, su primer MIGUEL MERINO RESERVA 1994 salía al mercado, despertando el interés y entusiasmo de un buen número de clientes y amigos. Uno de ellos, Jesús Rocandio, presenta en las Bodegas Miguel Merino una parte de su colección de retratos de personajes relacionados con el arte y la cultura contemporánea. El estilo y la técnica formal de estos retratos en blanco y negro se acompaña con las imágenes de Pablo San Juan, que componen un ensayo de color y composición basado en la técnica de la fotografía Polaroid. A ambos les une una larga trayectoria y la pasión por el medio reflejada en sus trabajos. Pablo San Juan nació en Logroño (La Rioja), pero ha desarrollado su carrera en Valencia. 	MIGUEL MERINO WINERIES WELCOME 2008 WITH A PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
	WORKS BY PABLO SAN JUAN AND JESÚS ROCANDIO ARE EXHIBITED IN THE WINERY FROM BRIONES
In 1994, Miguel Merino started together with his family the restoration of an old stone house in Briones, with the aim of transforming it into a winery. Near it they built some small ageing rooms, selection rooms, production rooms and bottling rooms to be able to achieve their objective about “having a good time by making wine”. Six years later, their first MIGUEL MERINO RESERVA 1994 was launched, interesting customers and friends. One of them, Jesús Rocandio, presents at the Miguel Merino wineries some instances of his collection of portraits of people related to contemporary art and culture. The formal style and technique of these black and white portraits goes together with the images by Pablo San Juan, Creating a colourful essay based on the Polaroid technique. Both authors have a long career and passion for photography in common, which is reflected in their works. Pablo San Juan was born in Logroño (La Rioja), but he has developed his career in Valencia.
