UN “RIOJA” DE HARO, EL NOVENO MEJOR TINTO DEL 2007 |

| Aparecer en la lista de los 100 mejores vinos del año de la prestigiosa publicación Wine Spectator es objeto de deseo de bodegueros de todo el mundo, un logro que da prestigio e impulso a las ventas en EEUU. Este año, tras una cata de más de de 15.000 vinos, ocho vinos españoles lo han conseguido. El mejor clasificado es el rioja Torre Muga, noveno mejor tinto de la lista (aunque 11° en la clasificación general, encabezada por el francés Clos des Papes, y en la que le superan un champán y un blanco). "Es un vino de autor, atípico de la Rioja", explicaba satisfecho en Nueva York el miércoles Isaac Muga, que cree que el éxito del Torre Muga (el 35% de cuya producción se venderá en EEUU) se enmarca en el triunfo general del vino español, marcado por una mejor producción y por una exportación más refinada. "Ya no exportan vinos peleones", dijo. Los otros caldos españoles de la lista son Bodegas Lan, Pago de los Capellanes, Rafael Palacios, Bodega y Viñedos Castro Ventosa, Bodegas Borsao, Bodegas Godeval y Descendientes de J. | To be present in the list of the best 100 wines of the year in the renowned magazine Wine Spectator is the secret dream of wine makers all around the world, because this achievement gives prestige and promotes sales. This year, after a tasting of more than 15,000 wines, eight Spanish wines have been selected. The wine which has got the best position is the Riojan Torre Muga, the ninth best red wine in the list (although it is 11th in the general classification, headed by the French wine Clos des Papes, and it is overcome by one white wine and one champagne). «This is an author wine, unusual in La Rioja» explained proudly in New York last Wednesday Isaac Muga, who believes that the successful Torre Muga (35% of which will be sold in the USA) is framed in the general triumph of the Spanish wine, marked by a better production and a finer exportation. «Cheap wines are not exported any longer» he said. The other Spanish wines which appear in the list are: Lan Wineries, Pago de los Capellanes, Rafael Palacios, Castro Ventosa Winery and Vineyards, Borsao Wineries, Godeval Wineries and Descendientes de J.
