	BODEGAS RODA PRESENTÓ LA FAMILIA “RODA 107”, UN MATERIAL VEGETAL TEMPRANILLO
	ALBERTO GARCÍA ALIX Y JOAN COLOM UNEN SUS IMÁGENES EN LA EXPOSICIÓN DE FOTOGRAFÍA
Bodegas Roda presentó recientemente la Familia “Roda 107”, un nuevo material vegetal de la variedad Tempranillo que forma parte de sus trabajos de I+D. Viveros Villanueva será la empresa que comercializará este material procedente de la selección realizada por la firma ubicada en Haro. Para la citada selección se realizó una prospección en Viñedos de la Variedad Tempranillo por la D.O. Ca. Rioja en los años 1.998, 1.999 y 2.000. Se escogieron 532 cepas madre que posteriormente se injertaron en campos de Bodegas Roda situados en Haro. Durante las últimas cinco vendimias se ha realizado el estudio del comportamiento fenológico, agronómico y enológico de los fenotipos seleccionados. Fruto de este estudio surge la familia Roda 107, caracterizada por ser un material estándar, formado por un conjunto de morfotipos, con una producción media, tamaño de la baya pequeño, Baumé medio alto y buen Índice de Color. Por otra parte, la “Fundació Foto Colectania” presentó en Bodegas Roda la segunda exposición de fotografía del ciclo “Maridajes”, que reúne las imágenes de Alberto García Alix y Joan Colom. La propuesta, comisariada por Pepe Font de Mora, director de la fundación, busca unir la obra de dos fotógrafos cuya visión del mundo y su interpretación de la imagen crean una combinación perfecta. Para esta ocasión, se han elegido retratos de personajes del Madrid de la movida y la Barcelona de los años 50 y 60. Tras la visita comentada a la exposición, a cargo de sus propios autores, se llevará a cabo la visita a Bodegas Roda con su presidente, Mario Rotllant y, posteriormente, se realizará una cata de vinos y aceites a cargo de Agustín Santolaya, director de la bodega, previa a un almuerzo en los jardines de la bodega. 	RODA WINERIES PRESENTED “RODA 107”, A VEGETAL TEMPRANILLO
	ALBERTO GARCÍA ALIX AND JOAN COLOM GATHER THEIR IMAGES IN THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION
Roda wineries has recently presented "Roda 107" Family, a new vegetal material belonging to the Tempranillo family which is a part of their I+D works. Viveros Villanueva will be the company to commercialise this material which comes from the first selection made by the company. In order to make such selection, a study of the earth’s crust was fulfilled in the vineyards with Tempranillo in 1998, 1999 and 2000 by the DO Rioja. 532 vines were chosen to be grafted in Roda wineries' fields in Haro. The phenological, agricultural and oenological behaviour of the phenotypes was studied for the last five grape harvests. Thanks to this study, Roda 107 family was born, characterised for being a standard material and for being made up of a group of morphotypes with a medium production, a small berry, medium-high Baumé and good colour. On the other hand, the “Fundació Foto Colectania” foundation presented in Roda wineries the second photography exhibition of the cycle "Maridajes” (Matching), which gathers images by Alberto García Alix and Joan Colom. The proposal, organised by Pepe Font de Mora, director of the foundation, seeks for the matching of two photographers and their interpretation of the world to create a perfect combination. In this occasion, portraits of protagonists of the Madrid scene and the 50's and 60's in Barcelona have been chosen. Alter the guided visit to the exhibition, there will be another guided visit to Roda wineries carried away by their president , Mario Rotllant and then, a wine and oil tasting session with Agustín Santolaya, director of the winery, before having lunch in the gardens around the winery.
