LA IV GALA DEL DÍA DE LA MUJER OFRECERÁ MAGIA Y MÚSICA |
| OBTENDRÁ RECURSOS ECONÓMICOS PARA FINANCIAR TALLERES EN BOLIVIA | |
| La IV Gala del Día de la Mujer Trabajadora ofrecerá el 7 de marzo en Riojaforum, magia y música bajo la presentación de 'Sapo Producciones' y el objetivo de financiar un proyecto de talleres de formación para mujeres en Bolivia. La responsable del Departamento de la Mujer de CSI-CSIF (sindicato responsable de organizar la gala), Gloria Martínez, presentó la séptima edición acompañada de la responsable de proyectos de Médicos Mundi, Jimena Puertas, ya que se trata de la ONG escogida, este año, para dedicar los fondos del evento. La gala incluirá las actuaciones del grupo musical 'The Song', formación especializada en conciertos de pequeño formato, y 'Edema', un ilusionista que, en el año 2005, se proclamó Campeón de España de Grandes Ilusiones, según nota difundida por Europa Press. Puertas explicó que Médicos Mundi pretende obtener financiación para desarrollar talleres formativos para mujeres jóvenes en La Paz (Bolivia). Se busca "capacitarles para incorporarse al mundo adulto con mejores niveles de adaptación" y, "en definitiva, aumentar su autoestima". Indicó que el cuarenta por ciento de las mujeres de esta zona abandona sus estudios por quedarse embarazada, casarse o unirse con su pareja. THE 4TH WOMEN’S DAY SHOW WILL OFFER MAGIC AND MUSIC |
| IT WILL RAISE FUNDS TO FINANCE WORKSHOPS IN BOLIVIA | |
| The 4th Working Women’s day show will offer next 7th March in Riojaforum, magic and music performed by ‘Sapo Producciones’ and the objective of the show is to raise funds to finance a project educational workshops for women in Bolivia. The person in charge of the Department of Women of CSI-CSIF (the trade union responsible for organising the event), Gloria Martínez, presented the edition together with the person who is responsible for projects of Medicus Mundi, Jimena Puertas, since this is the NGO chosen this year as the beneficent of the funds raised. The show will include the performances of the music band ‘The Song’, who are specialised in small concerts and ‘Edema’, an illusionist who, in the year 2005 won the Spanish Championship of Great Illusions, according to Europa Press. Puertas explained that Medicus Mundi aims at obtaining funds to create educational workshops for young women in La Paz (Bolivia). The objective is to “prepare them to join the adult world of work with a better level of adaptation” and, “in short, to improve their self-esteem”. She indicated that a 40% of women in this region leave their studies to get pregnant, married or live with their couples.
