	MESA REDONDA “DEL TEXTO AL DISCURSO: PENSAR LA GLOBALIDAD” EN LA UNIVERSIDAD RIOJANA
	CON PARTICIPANTES DE AMSTERDAM, AALBORG Y LA CORUÑA
La Universidad de La Rioja acogió la mesa redonda “Del texto al discurso: Pensar la globalidad” en la que participan Teun van Dijk, de la Universidad de Ámsterdam (Holanda); Hugo Cancino, de la Universidad de Aalborg (Dinamarca); y Óscar Loureda, de la Universidad de La Coruña. Teun A. van Dijk es catedrático de Estudios del Discurso de la Universidad de Ámsterdam y profesor de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, además de Doctor Honoris Causa por las Universidad de Buenos Aires y Tucumán (Argentina). Su línea de investigación se ha dirigido a cuestiones como la reproducción del racismo en el discurso, prensa e ideología y, actualmente, las relaciones entre discuros, conocimiento y contexto. Hugo Cancino es profesor del Departamento de Español y Estudios Internationales de la Universidad de Aalborg (Dinamarca) y autor de estudios sobre Las raíces históricas e ideológicas del Movimiento Sandinista o las formas de democracia directa y de participación popular. Oscar Loureda es profesor de la Universidad de La Coruña y becario de la Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung. 	ROUND TABLE “FROM THE TEXT TO THE DISCOURSE: THINKING OF GLOBALITY”
	IN THE RIOJAN UNIVERSITY WITH PARTICIPANTS FROM AMSTERDAM, AALBORG AND LA CORUÑA
The university of La Rioja held the round table “From the text to the discourse: thinking of globality” in which Teun van Dijk, from the University of Amsterdam (Holland); Hugo Cancino, from the University of Aalborg (Denmark); and Óscar Loureda, from the University of La Coruña participated. Teun A. van Dijk is a professor of Discourse Studies at the University of Ámsterdam and a professor of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, apart from having Honorary degrees by the universities of Buenos Aires and Tucumán (Argentina). His research line is focused mainly on matters such as the racist discourse, press and ideology and, currently, the relationship between discourse, knowledge and context. Hugo Cancino is a professor of the Department of Spanish and International Studies at the University of Aalborg (Denmark) and has written some studies about the historical and ideological roots of the Sandinist Movement and or the types of direct democracy and popular participation. Oscar Loureda is a professor at the University of La Coruña and a scholar of the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung.
