	LA RIOJA APARECERÁ EN EL LIBRO GUINNESS GRACIAS AL JUEGO DEL MUS
	TRAS LOGRAR EL MAYOR NÚMERO DE PAREJAS (361) JUGANDO SIMULTÁNEAMENTE
El pasado domingo, un notario dio fe de que había 361 parejas, 722 personas, jugando simultáneamente al mus. Así, La Rioja arrebataba el récord a Álava que, en mayo del año pasado, reunió a 352 parejas. De este modo, el Libro Guinness de los Récords 2008, disponible a partir del 9 de octubre, incluirá a La Rioja como poseedora de este récord "simpático". Las parejas que han logrado el récord se disputaban pasar a las finales de este torneo, que, este año, celebra su vigésima octava edición; algo que han logrado cincuenta. El director de Diario El Correo, periódico organizador del reto, relató que en otras ocasiones, la semifinal se había disputado en tres localidades (una de Rioja Alta, otra de Rioja Baja y otra del Centro de La Rioja). Sin embargo, el récord de Vitoria, el año pasado, inspiró a los riojanos que decidieron juntar a todas las parejas. Algo que hubiera sido posible antes de pasar a semifinales, ya que se inscribieron 2.200 parejas al torneo. Álava, por su parte, arrebató el récord a Charleston (Estados Unidos), que reunió a 330 parejas jugando a las cartas, aunque no al juego del mus, según publicó Europa Press. 	LA RIOJA WILL APPEAR IN THE GUINNESS BOOK THANKS TO THE CARD GAME “MUS”
	361 COUPLES WERE PLAYING CARDS AT THE SAME TIME
Last Sunday, a notary testified there were 361 couples, 722 people, playing mus. This way, La Rioja snatched the record from Alava, where, last May, 352 couples gathered. Then, the Guinness Book of Records 2008, available from 9th October, will include La Rioja as the owner of this friendly record. The people who got the record were competing to be finalists in this tournament, which, this year, celebrates its 28th edition; only 50 of them could do it. The director of the journal Diario El Correo, organiser of the challenge, said that in other occasions, the semi-final had taken place in three townships (High, Low and Mid Rioja). However, the record belonging to Vitoria last year, inspired the Riojan people, who decide to join all couples; something impossible before the semi-final, because there were 2,200 couples. Álava, for its part, snatched the record from Charleston (The United States), where 330 couples gathered to play cards, although they were not playing “mus”, according to Europa Press.
