	EL XIV PREMIO PRESTIGIO RIOJA PARA ALEJANDRO SANZ
	EL CANTANTE LO RECIBIRÁ EL 5 DE JUNIO EN LOGROÑO
El Jurado permanente del Premio Prestigio Rioja ha decidido por unanimidad conceder el correspondiente a este año al cantante Alejandro Sanz en reconocimiento a su magnífica trayectoria artística y profesional, así como por su condición de “embajador” de los valores de la cultura española en el mundo y particularmente entre la juventud. El Premio Prestigio Rioja fue creado en 1994 por el Consejo Regulador de la D.O. Calificada Rioja y es concedido cada año a personas o instituciones que por su actuación personal y profesional contribuyen al mantenimiento y exaltación de la cultura y forma de vida de la que el vino forma parte. Iniciativa pionera en la identificación vino-cultura, el objetivo del Premio es impulsar en la sociedad una corriente positiva de opinión sobre los aspectos culturales y gastronómicos que hacen al vino saludable. Avalado por un Jurado de excepción, integrado por Carmen Iglesias, Sabino Fernández Campo, Antonio Mingote, Adrián Piera, Rafael Ansón, Eduardo Arroyo y Juan Antonio Samaranch, así como por el presidente del Consejo Regulador de la D.O.Ca.Rioja, Víctor Pascual, el Premio Prestigio Rioja ha sido otorgado a figuras tan destacadas como Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Francisco J. Ayala, Mario Vargas Llosa, Eduardo Chillida, Theresa Zabell, Plácido Domingo, Valentín Fuster, Isidoro Álvarez, Cristóbal Halffter, Pedro Duque, Antonio Banderas, Carlos Sainz y Ana Patricia Botín. Alejandro Sanz recogerá el premio en Logroño el próximo 5 de junio en un acto que se celebrará en la sede del Consejo Regulador. 	THE 14TH PRESTIGIO RIOJA AWARD TO ALEJANDRO SANZ
	THE SINGER WILL RECEIVE IT ON THE 5TH JUNE IN LOGROÑO
The permanent jury of the Prestigio Rioja Award has decide unanimously to give this year this prize to the singer Alejandro Sanz to acknowledge his fantastic art and professional career, as well as his quality of representative of the Spanish culture in the world and above all for youngsters. This award was created in 1994 by the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin Control Board and it is given to the people or institutions which yearly contribute to the maintenance and promotion of wine culture. It is a pioneering initiative when relating wine and culture, and its aim is to promote a positive tendency of the cultural and gastronomic aspects which make wine healthy. Guaranteed by an exceptional jury (Carmen Iglesias, Sabino Fernández Campo, Antonio Mingote, Adrián Piera, Rafael Ansón, Eduardo Arroyo and Juan Antonio Samaranch), as well as by the president of the Control Board, Víctor Pascual, the Prestigio Rioja Award has been given to important people such as Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Francisco J.
