DOS OROS PARA FINCA MANZANOS |
| EN EL CONCURSO “SUB 30” DE JÓVENES CATADORES | |
| La iniciativa “VinoSub30” ha llegado a España tras cumplir 4 ediciones en Argentina, con el objetivo de ”conocer las preferencias de los jóvenes en materia de vinos, difundir su cultura en esta franja de edad y estimular el consumo responsable en las nuevas generaciones”. Daniel López Roca, director de “ArgentineWines.Com”, es el fundador de esta iniciativa Internacional. Periodista especializado, es miembro titular y jurado internacional del equipo de cata de la guía de Vinos, Bodegas y Viñas de Austral Spectator. López Roca reunió un grupo de 11 catadores menores de 30 años ha elegido los mejores vinos de acuerdo a sus paladares, y ha concedido 16 Medallas de Oro y 10 de Plata, además de 4 premios especiales concedidos por ‘El Periódico de la Publicidad’, colaborador del evento. Cuatro medallas han recaído en vinos de la DOC Rioja, de las cuales “Fernández de Manzanos”, firma perteneciente a la Asociación de Bodegas Familiares de Rioja, PROVIR, ha sido merecedor de dos Oros, por “Finca Manzanos 2007” y “Finca Manzanos Crianza 2005”. Los tintos “Irep 2004”, de Viña Hermosa-Santiago Ijalba, y “Santalba 2004”, de Viña de Nabot, han recibido Medalla de Plata. A este concurso se han presentado vinos de 15 denominaciones o zonas vinícolas de España, así como vinos de Sudamérica. TWO GOLDEN MEDALS FOR FINCA MANZANOS |
| AT THE “UNDER 30” CONTEST FOR YOUNG WINE TASTERS | |
| The initiative “VinoSub30” has come to Spain after 4 editions in Argentina with the aim of “knowing the preferences of youngsters as regards wines, promoting the wine culture for people in their thirties and the responsible consumption for new generations”. Daniel López Roca, manager of “ArgentineWines.Com”, is the founder of this international initiative. As a specialised journalist, he is a member of the tasting team of the Wine, Wineries and Vineyards Guidebook of the Austral Spectator. López Roca gathered a group of 11 tasters under 30, who chose the best wines according to their preferences, and gave 16 Golden medals and 10 Silver ones, as well as 4 special awards by ‘El Periódico de la Publicidad’, a collaborator. Four medals went to the Rioja DO: “Fernández de Manzanos”, a company which belongs to PROVIR, got two Golden medals for “Finca Manzanos 2007” and “Finca Manzanos Crianza 2005”. The red wines “Irep 2004”, by Viña Hermosa-Santiago Ijalba, and “Santalba 2004”, by Viña de Nabot, got a Silver medal.
